What an excellent day we had at the forest school! The weather was perfect and a lot of learning took place in the natural environment within the forest. We made 'paint' out of charcoal, mud and flowers, we enjoyed loose parts play with natural materials, mud kitchen fun, tree climbing and much, much more. On our walk to the forest we learned about different plants and flowers along the path, listened to sounds in nature and saw lots of frogs spawn in the big pond! After a busy day and lots of fresh air it was hard to keep our eyes open on the bus!
