We incubated 7 eggs for 21 days. Each day we looked at our 'pretend' eggs to see how they were developing on the inside and we also counted down the days on our chick calendar! Eventually just in time for Easter, we saw very tiny holes appear in the eggs and could hear the little chicks cheeping from inside the egg. After a bit of wriggling and tapping, the chicks began to hatch one after the other until we had 7 fluffy yellow chicks to name and look after...it was eggcellent!!
