This month we have been busy learning about the life cycle of a chicken. We incubated 7 eggs and counted down 21 days until they were ready to hatch. Each day we opened a 'pretend' egg to see how the chick would be growing and developing and eventually after 21 days we had 4 of our eggs hatch into fluffy yellow chicks. It was VERY exciting and we enjoyed looking after them in the lead up to Easter.
