We incubated 7 little eggs for 21 days! We counted down the days using our calendar, waited patiently, checked our pretend eggs to see how they were developing inside and eventually hatching day came.
We had 5 yellow, fluffy chicks hatch and we enjoyed looking after them for a few days leading up to Easter.
What a lot of learning we enjoyed through this process, from learning about life cycles and new life, counting down and the passing of time to caring for animals.
