What a busy morning we had as we got into the Christmas spirit and made some sausage rolls for snack. There were lots of things to learn...following the recipe, naming our ingredients and equipment, rolling the pastry, figuring out how to join the pastry, counting how many sausage rolls we needed to make, cutting the sausage rolls up and learning how to brush them and prick them to help them cook and turn brown. Finally we asked Mrs King if she would mind putting them in the oven for us and when they came out of the oven they were golden and scrumptious!
